Set in idyllic surroundings close to Epping Forest, Buckhurst Hill Bowls Club offers good facilities, hospitality and friendship.
The nine rinks are maintained to a very high standard and six of the rinks are overlooked by the Club Pavilion. The rinks are surrounded by flower beds and there is an adjacent car park.
Buckhurst Hill Bowling Club became a mixed club in 2010 and currently has around 120 members. A warm welcome is extended to new players of all standards from the complete novice to experienced bowlers. But enter a number of teams in the local and county leagues.
The 2023 Buckhurst Hill Bowls season is due to open on Saturday April 15th 2023 and usually runs until mid to late September. During the season the club is open 7 days a week enabling members to practise their skills in roll ups or play in a variety of drives, internal competitions, leagues or matches against other clubs. The Club Pavilion is the centre of activity both before and after matches, as well as being the place where members meet to enjoy the active social side of the Club. The pavilion has a well stocked bar where members can obtain refreshments and relax.
