Buckhurst Hill Bowling and Lawn Tennis Club was formed in 1922. We have been celebrating our centenary in 2022. But bowls and tennis in Buckhurst Hill dates back before that. The Buckhurst Hill Mens Bowling Club was formed in 1910 and celebrated its centenary in 2010. A Buckhurst Hill Lawn Tennis Club however was formed on a separate site sometime in the 1880s.
